Skipper Nándor Fa is preparing for his private transatlantic training from Les Sables d’Olonne to USA with his renewed Imoca 60 racing boat – The 2-crew member left the Vendée Globe village 17th Jun. Nándor is going to sail back from Newport as his solo transat.

Spirit of Hungary left Port Olona this afternoon. Nándor Fa and his 2-member crew has started their transatlantic crossing towards Newport (USA). They hoisted their brand new mainsail at 15:30 (local time) in front of the plage of Les Sables d’Olonne and turned northwest. (more images and video soon)
